After a subpar Spring campaign left the Jackets bitter, some fresh roster changes promise to change the teams fortunes. Losing Marat Shikhris promises a more balanced offence, with his loss as well as the loss of Marc Desomma, Tak Yawata and injury to George Remennik being offset by the reacquisition of skaters Mike Wolf, Neil Skorka, Mike Earl and Nick Lavia, the Jackets hope to dress 3 solid forward lines and re-establish themselves as a force at Ice House.
