Yellow Jackets vs. The Replacements, June 20th, 2007 Jackets Rape The Replacements Rape is the only verb that can describe what the Jackets did to the Replacements last night. Playing all out offense, they scored 18 goals against a team that has given up over ten a game all season. The also managed to give up 5 goals to a team that has averaged 2 a game all season... Some highlights include Marat Shikhris setting the Jackets record for goals in a game at 7, topping the record of 5 set by Chris Hagen, but he fell short of the record of most points, scoring 9 and missing by a point. Two other players, Matt and Marc Desomma scored hat tricks, but I am sure they will tell you that it was not very difficult at all. A win against an inferior opponent to end the Jackets season... We took out our fustration on the lowly Replacements.
