Yellow Jackets vs. Blades, May 9th, 2007

Blades Slash Jackets to Ribbons

The Blades were able to take advantage of the Yellow Jackets short roster and shoddy work by the referees to expose the flaws of the Jackets and skate to an uncontested 10-3 victory. The Jackets looked slow and the effort was non-existant as the Jacket's record fell to 2-3-0, under 500 for the first time this season and into a reeling 3 game skid. Chris Sisco was ejected for taking 3 minor penalties, 2 of which were very questionable, and that cut the bench to 9 skaters. The tired Jackets surrendered 10 goals, 6 of which were unanswered goals at the end of the contest as the Jackets layed down and allowed the Blades to skate over them. A poor effort ends up with poor results.
