Yellow Jackets vs. Orange Lantern, October 18th, 2006 Jackets Fail in Opener Entering into the Winter season, comming off a Ice House Tournament victory, the Jackets came up short against the Orange Lantern. Orange Lantern took the lead early in the first and never looked back. The Jackets were able to pull within a goal, making the game 3-2 midway through the third period, but the O.L. nailed the coffin down on the Jackets with 5 minutes to go. The Jackets played a hard final moments, but fell short and took the loss to start their budding season.
