Yellow Jackets vs. Orange Lantern, November 29th, 2006 Jackets Turn the Tide on the Orange Lantern After losing the season opener, a different Jacket team showed up for this contest against the Orange Lantern. Jutting out to a 5-0 lead in the first, a game in which the O.L. were dominated in every aspect, the game predictably got rough. 32 minutes of penalties were doled out in this contest, as the Jackets scoring, led by Tanner Finnan's 3 assists and Murat Shikhis' 2 goals, were able to tally 7 goals against the O.L. before they scored their lone goal in the last moments of the 2nd period. The third period was a race for the clock to end as running time and penalty minutes galore sped the game up and no scoring was done in the frame.
